Start/Finish Location
The RIDE in Montreal begins and ends at Westview Bible Church - 16789 Pierrefonds Blvd., Pierrefonds, QC H9H 4T3.
Registration/Check-In 8:00am
All riders (and volunteers) must check-in personally and sign the Registration + Waiver form (available under the Tools tab). Riders aged 15 or younger require a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf. Riders should come prepared with their 'My Donors Form' downloaded and printed from their personal fundraising page or a completed pledge form.
Opening Ceremonies 8:45am
Lunch 11:00am-2:30pm
We always have a great lunch for our riders and volunteers and welcome you to linger and enjoy. For long-distance riders, you may want to zip in at the half-way mark and eat to make sure you've enjoyed the bounty too - there are no guarantees of how much food will be left after 2:00pm!!
What to Bring/Wear
Late September can be cool and rainy, and wind, etc. is quite possible. Wear layers, some moisture repelling clothes and if rain is forecasted, gloves, toque and even some bags to keep your feet dry during your ride. Of course, it could also be a beautiful fall day with no wind and blazing sunshine so keep an eye on the weather forecast as Ride Day approaches. Remember to have some extra tire tubes available and although there are rest stations along the route, consider bringing additional snacks if required.
After Your RIDE
A great lunch will be served around noon and you are welcome to linger and enjoy after (or during your ride depending on how far you go). Riders are expected to depart or be picked up no later than 3:00pm.
Lost + Found
A welcome desk and lost and found are staffed through out the day at most locations.
Route Safety
Routes are overseen by support vehicles identified by their bright RIDE flags. Volunteers direct riders at key intersections and in some locations local Police are employed to support the ride at critical spots along the route.
